  1. https://orthodoxwiki.org/Original_sin I put this up to show how very different the EO view this whole subject, especially Original or what they call Ancestral Sin. And as I have said, the doctrine of Imputation is surely foreign to them! Thus there is a huge difference between classic and historical Protestant and Reformed and Reformational doctrine and the Orthodox, or EO.

See the EO’s ad hoc of what they call “legal fiction” to their idea of “imputation”. But, this is just that, an ad hoc against the biblical teaching of God’s Imputation!

    • Both R. Catholicism and the EO quite simply don’t follow the doctrine of God’s Imputation of both sin and salvation, which is surely biblical revelation and theology, in both St. Paul and St. John, as too St. Peter’s Epistles/Letters! For both church’s sin is NOT Adamic, nor seen in the Federal Headship of Christ, as is seen in Romans chap. 3-4-5, with also 1 Cor. 15: 45-47, etc.

      • I surely respect aspects of Eastern Orthodoxy, especially in their doctrine of the Trinity of God, but they like Rome have simply NOT removed themselves from error in many places, often following both tradition and a kind of overt mysticism, rather than the Word and Revelation of God, alone! Again, my thoughts away.
