Conservatism Quote

November 9, 2016

This I think deserves another re-quote “Conservatism is not so much a philosophy as an attitude, a constant force, performing a timeless function in the development of a free society, and corresponding to a deep and permanent requirement of human nature itself.” – Quintin Hogg 1907 – 2001, Englishman.

And I have said this several times, but I believe that St. Paul, both the Jew and the Roman citizen was in essence a conservative mind: “For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and I might save some of them. For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?” (Romans 11:13-15, KJV) And that Day is fully coming for National Israel!

  1. And note, I am Historic Pre-Mill, but the Covenant and covenants are always first toward the Jews and Israel, and then for the benefit of the Gentiles or Nations, Romans 1: 16 / Eph. 2: 12.

    • And yes I know Trump is really NOT a full-blown conservative, but a moderate centrist one. We who are Christians and believe in the conservative model should pray for him!
