Holy Scripture Reading, 2 Corinthians 4: 7, ESV.

March 4, 2017

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” (2 Corinthians 4: 7, ESV)

*The true treasure we have is this Gospel and Good News of the ministry and message of the knowledge of God in the face of Christ! We are really as Paul says just “earthen vessels”, but redeemed and in the process of redemption. For many of us it is a long and life affair, but always ‘In Christ’, and yes it is foremost and interior work… To God be the Glory! (Fr.R.)

  1. Yes, this is ‘Light, Life and Love’ in the face and presence of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Master and Redeemer! Again Paul says: “To them (us) God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (glorification).” (Colossians 1: 27)

*And yes, I am myself just an old Irish Gentile Christian!
