Jersusalem Connetion: The Future of Christianity

March 24, 2017

The future of Christianity

A prominent Anglican priest known as the “Vicar of Baghdad,” Canon Andrew White said: “Christianity in Iraq, the region from which the faith originated, is ‘over.’…”time has come where it is over, no Christians will be left. Some say Christians should stay to maintain the historical presence, but it has become very difficult. The future for the community is very limited.”… “If there is anything I can tell Americans it is that your fellow brothers and sisters are suffering, they are desperate for help,” he continued. “And it is not just a matter of praying for peace. They need a lot — food, resources, clothes, everything. They need everything.”… “There cannot be peace [in Iraq] without provision … when people don’t have what they need it’s very difficult to make real or lasting peace.”… “So despite the terrible persecution of much of the Church today in Iraq and the Middle East, the wonderful news is that G-d is not dead. He is alive and doing the greatest things ever. Resurrections, healing and angels are part of daily life. We in the western world just do not “know of the real majesty, glory and presence of Jesus. STRANGELY IT WAS IN PERSECUTION WE SAW THE GREATEST GLORY.”

God says: “The time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. I have told you this, so that when their time comes you will remember that I warned you about them.”…“ For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.”… “And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. The number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand. I heard their number.” (John 16:2-4; Matthew 24:21-22; Revelation 9:15-16)

The Jerusalem Connection says: I have known Canon White for several years, and have been a great admirer of his unique ministry, As a matter of fact when I was in Jerusalem last year I took part in a Passover Seder. I was fortunate to find the hidden Afikomen, for which Canon White gave me what was a “key to Jerusalem” Be that as it may, what he is saying about Christianity in Iraq is a Biblical preview of coming attractions. As the saying goes, “coming events cast their shadows.” But while the persecution of Christian and Jew will be unprecedented, as Canon White said about Iraq so will it be for the world, “to know of the real majesty, glory and presence of Jesus. STRANGELY IT WAS IN PERSECUTION WE SAW THE GREATEST GLORY.”

  1. Think it is not happening, and cannot happen in the West? Think again! (Luke 18: 7-8)

  2. I think “Alexander” you are the only one who perhaps saw the depth of this post?
