Evangelical Beliefs on Israel Match Prophetic Doomsday Scenarios

*It is getting clearer by the days and hours, that the End Time beliefs of Evangelical Christians is coming into focus!  GOD has spoken in His Word, and it shall not return void!  Yes, we have only the eschatological outlines, but they are major and will be seen by God’s people who know and read God’s Word & Revelation!  Come Lord Jesus is the last prophetic in the Bible, Revelation (singular)… Rev. chapter 19: 1-10, etc. ; 22: 7 ; 9-10 ; 12-13 ; 16-20! (See also Rev. 1: 1-3 ; 1: 19)

  1. You sure are an interesi8ng guy man 🙂

    • Just a Christian guy, saved by God’s grace & glory! But unashamedly Pro-Israel and Pre-Mill! WE are surely in the Eschatological End!

      • I hope you’re right.

      • I know the Scripture is right, and surely in the biblicist: historical and literal sense, GOD is NOT done with National Israel! And Zechariah chapters 12, 13 and 14, have both a spiritual and literal fulfillment! It is most interesting that some biblical Christians, as early the 16th century, and to 17th-18th, and then of course to the 19th century especially, were were saying (by Bible Prophecy) that Israel would return to its land, become a Nation, and then soon after Jesus would come! And that’s about right on track since the late 19th to the 20th century, and now into the 21st century! Surely no man knows the exact time, but we can know the season! And so-called church & gentile apostasy, with all the biblical signs Jesus Himself spoke of (Matthew 24 and Mark 13, with too Luke 21, etc.) we are being pressed into the End Times! Indeed how can man or humanity survive the 21st century?

I am, as I have said, an Historic Pre-Mill, with progressive dispensational lines, but Post-Tribulational! This is the grammar of 2 Thess. 2: 1, etc.”Now regarding the arrival (return) of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to be with him, (literally “our gathering with him”) (The Net Bible, 1998-2007). The Coming and so-called “gathering” and Rapture are connected! Christ Comes and then HE “Rapture’s” i.e. seizes, takes to Himself, His People! And all of this will be within the “sidereal” heavens: the visible clouds of glory! (1 Thess. 4: 16-17 ; 1 Cor. 15: 51-52-53)

      • And the “Rapture” itself will not been seen, since it happens “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,” (1 Cor. 15: 52), but the Second Coming and descent of Christ WILL be seen, which according to 2 Thess 2: 1 happens first and before the Rapture! But there is no holding so-called pattern when Christ comes and descends, HE comes to the clouds (sidereal heavens) and descends! But, surely in HIS presence time will somewhat disappear for the Church and Body of Christ… forever with the Lord! We are dealing with great biblical mystery here! But it surely does appear to be Post-Trib? My position at least.

      • And yes, National Israel is central here, in Biblical Prophecy! Note, Zech. 13: 8 & 9, with chapter 14: 1-4, etc. See also Matt. 23: 39/ Rev. 1: 7!

    • One instant the Church/Body Redemptive of Christ will be on earth and the next instant it will be before Him/Jesus, “Raptured” and the Dead in Christ and all His Body Resurrected”! (Rev. 19: 4-10) So when Christ Comes again, the Church & Body of Christ will be seen with Him! (2 Thess. 1: 7-10-12).

  2. So Tiribulus (Greg) have YOU bent your knee to Historic Pre-Millennialism?

    • Eschatology is my weakest area of study, but I lean rather substantially historic pre-mil.

      • Well I encourage you to press into it! Of course I believe its biblical! And I have held (in over 40 years as a Christian) both the A-Mill and the Post-Mill, but I now believe both of those are now DEAD positions, especially the latter! Augustine was not infallible! And the Reformed and Reformational churches need to see the light here! Though there were some Pre-Mill men like old Gordon Clark!

      • Note, I get heat from many of my Reformed friends for holding the Pre-Mill, but hey can lump it! 😉 And note I am closely drawn to aspects of the PD or Progressive Dispensationalism, see Blaising and Bock classic book: Progressive Dispensationalism, (Baker Books, 1993). With too old Robert Saucy’s classic of the same: The Case For Progressive Dispensationalism, The Interface Between Dispinsationalism & Non-Dispensational Theology, (Zondervan, 1993). And yet, I am always presupposed to the nature of the basic Dispensational definition, 1 Cor. 10: 32! See too Ryrie’s classic book: Dispensationalism, the revised and expanded version, which has much truth in my opinion! Though as I have said, I am biblically set on the Post-Trib on the Rapture. But the timing of the Rapture, should be somewhat an open question, though I must say I don’t see the Pre-Trib at all, but ya never know? We must walk softly oftentimes!

*Btw, old Dr. Saucy recently died (from aspects in a car accident, he was 84) April 2015, RIP! A good man and Christian, and moderate Calvinist. We talked several times, he shall be missed!
